DAY 01.- Reception at the airport or bus terminal in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, visit to the canyon's viewpoints and transfer to Cahuaré to take a motorboat and enter the Sumidero Canyon and stand between its high limestone walls and see flora and fauna, visit to the magical town of Chiapa de Corzo, colonial fountain, the Santo Domingo church, buffet lunch of Chiapas food included, transfer to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Accommodation at the hotel.
DAY 02.- Departure at 06:00 hrs. to the canyon of la venta, with breakfast included on the route, where we will descend 700 steps to reach the bottom and see the waterfall of the aguacero, lunch included based on box lunch, we continue to the Sima de las cotorras, prehistoric walk inside the sinkhole, rappel and climb the optional via ferrata (not included), see the return of the parrots to their nests in season, return to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Accommodation at the hotel.
DAY 03.- At 6:00 am. Departure for the visit to the Chiflon waterfalls, the Chukumaltik cenote, the town of Tzimol where there are panela mills, continuation to the magical town of Comitán, lunch included, accommodation at the hotel, walk through the historic center and San Caralampio neighborhood. Bring only what is necessary for one night in Comitán.
DAY 04.- At 08:00 hrs. visit to Tenam Puente, a Mayan archaeological site where we find vestiges of this powerful lordship, visit to the colored lakes of Montebello, lunch included, visit to Chincultik, a Mayan ceremonial center, return to San Cristóbal, visiting the town of Amatenango del Valle to see the elaboration of local pottery made by the local women.
DAY 05.- At 06:00 in the morning departure to Simojovel with breakfast included, visit to the AMBAR mines, houses and workshops where amber is worked, you will polish a piece that you can take home, lunch included, visit to Huitiupan passing the suspension bridge with the view of the San Pedro River, return to San Cristóbal de las Casas, accommodation at the hotel, free dinner and overnight.
DAY 06.- At 08:00 in the morning, visit to the city. Walking tour of the historic center, Cerrillo neighborhood, colorful market, Santo Domingo church, ecclesiastical walkway, the cathedral, explanation of amber in a workshop, Arco del Carmen, continuation to the Mayan villages of Chamula and Zinacantaán to see their customs, worldview, religious syncretism and the practice of rituals. Return to San Cristóbal, time for lunch (not included) and transfer to the airport or bus terminal.
