Our Tour
At 5:00 a.m. we pick you up at your hotel and leave for the town of SIMOJOVEL, on route we find the Zapatista towns of San Andrés Larrainzar and Oventic, admiring beautiful landscapes of the Chiapas mountains, we arrive at approximately 8:30 a.m., time for breakfast not included in the local restaurant, we visit PAUCHIL and the coconuts where the guapinol tree is, we begin a walk of a kilometer and a half towards the AMBER mines with the local guide to learn about the extraction and work of this valuable fossil resin also known as the tears of the jungle, visit a workshop where we will see how to cut and polish amber, in addition you can buy the pieces you want at SUPER AFFORDABLE prices, visit the amber museum, time for lunch not included, visit to Huitiupan where we will see the town center, hanging bridge and Santa Catarina River, observation of the Itzantun hill, whirlpools and birds, return to San Cristóbal with a stop in Oventic to see the mural paintings and a brief stop in San Andrés to see the Church if we have time.

This tour is not suitable for minors; children 12 and older are welcome under parental supervision.
OBSERVACIONES:
Each participant must bring a backpack to carry water and personal belongings, tennis-type walking shoes or shoes with non-slip soles, a sun hat, a raincoat or umbrella during the rainy season, and mosquito repellent. Participants must be punctually in the hotel lobby at departure time. Please allow 30 minutes for the tour because other passengers at the hotels will be contacted.
This tour is not suitable for children, overweight individuals, those with tachycardia, or those who have had surgery on their lower extremities that prevents them from walking properly. Good physical condition is required.
