Our Tour
Day 01.- At 06:00 hrs. departure from San Cristobal de las Casas, at 07:00 a.m. departure from Tuxtla Gutierrez to the Parrots abyss with breakfast not included on route, we arrive to this fantastic place, pit of 140 meters deep and 160 meters diameter, the local guide provide us the equipment and go down looking for the trail and make a walk inside of this rock formation, seeing stalactites, nature and cave paintings and birds, continue to la Venta canyon for the visit of El Aguacero water fall going down 824 steps, time to get in touch with the water and explore part of the canyon, we climb up and continue to the communit with free lunch not included on road, accomodation in cabins, at convenient time dinner and overnight. (When the this tour is without the visit of the parrots abyss and la venta canyon the departure is at 14:00 p.m. and 15:00 p.m.)
DAY 02.- After brekfast with the local guides, we prepare the equipment, the horses to transport it and start the trekking class 3 of dificulty going down to the river in la venta canyon in a trail of lime stone rocks and vegetation, we arrive to 500 meters before de river and help to carry on our belongings and equipment to the place where we do the rappel activity 30 meters and reach the bottom of the river and face the marvelous arch of the time, it has 158 meters height, 35 meters wide and it is also a cave of 255 meters long. We prepare lunch and eat, time for exploring, swimming, walking, to take photos, at convenient time dinner and overnight in this wonderful place listening the rumor of the river and nature.
DAY 03.- At the sunrise, we prepare and do the breakfast enjoying the scenary, we continue to explore this fantastic place and at mid 11:00 ac. we start to climb with our rappel equipment and start our trekking up and back to the community and go to a house of a family and enjoy a tasty lunch, after that we return to Tuxtla or San Cristobal de las Casas.

We do this adventure with trekking, rappel and camping one night to the Arch of the time, the first night is in cabins of the community, it is required a very good physical condition, with troubles of surgical operations in the feet, legs that could avoid hard wlaks and other activities.
Personal equipment to bring: A medium backpack for personal belongings, trekking boots or tennis shoes with a marked pattern sole (do not bring converse tennis shoes) Bring two changes of clothes, one for the walks, long pants or lycra and long sleeves to protect yourself from the sun, vegetation and incects, dry lit type synthetic fibers are recommended, propene to wet without retaining much water (No. of mesclillas) the second change of clothes is to spend the night in camp. Also consider closed shoes or sandals tight with evillas (not velcro) for walking and being in the water. Bring sunscreen if necessary since when using creams we pollute the water, insect repellent.
