Our Tour

DAY 01.- Reception at the airport or bus terminal in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, visit to the canyon's viewpoints and transfer to Cahuaré to take a motorboat and enter the Sumidero Canyon and see its high limestone walls, flora and fauna, visit to Chiapa de Corzo, colonial fountain, the Santo Domingo church, buffet lunch of Chiapas food included, transfer to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 02.- 08:00 am. Departure to Ocosingo, visit to Toniná where we will see the highest temple in Mesoamerica with its seven levels, with vestiges of stucco ornamentation, rooms, altars and its on-site museum where we will see portraits of rulers and prisoners, return to San Cristóbal regional lunch included, then visit to the Tzotzil communities of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan, to see their worldview, customs, religious syncretism and rituals, visit to a family of artisans and return to the hotel.

DAY 03.- 06:00 am. Departure to the magical town of Comitán, breakfast included, visit to the historic center, archaeological zone of Tenam Puente where we will find a group of temples and ball games, visit to Chincultik with a wonderful view of the valleys, continue to Monte Bello to see the colorful lakes, lunch included, return and accommodation in hotel in Comitán, dinner not included, overnight.

DAY 04.- 08:00 AM. Visit to Tzimol to see sugar cane mills to make piloncillo, we will visit the Chucumaltik cenote with deep blue waters and then go to the Chiflón waterfalls and take a walk to see the bridal veil and crystal clear pools, lunch included, return to San Cristóbal visiting Amatenango del valle where women make pottery.

DAY 05.- 07:00 hrs. Departure to Sima de las Cotorras, breakfast included on route, prehistoric walk inside the pit to see rock formations, local flora, stalactites and cave paintings, lunch included, continue to Madresal or Boca del Cielo, accommodation in cabins, rest of free time, dinner included and overnight.

DAY 06.- After the included breakfast at 10:00 am. We take a 1-hour boat ride to see flora and fauna, time for the beach, lunch included, 2-hour boat ride for bird watching, free time to walk and watch the sunset, dinner included and overnight.

DAY 07.- After the included breakfast. 09:00 hours. We will do the fishing activity on a motorboat, live the experience to learn about the life of the fishermen, continue to the city of Tonalá and see its monuments and interesting places such as: Central Park "La Esperanza" La Crucecita viewpoint, Church of San Francisco de Asís, Stele of Tlaloc, Stele of the sitting jaguar, Fountain of the fat mermaid, The turtle, The fisherman, The solar clock. Return, lunch included in the place and rest of the free time, dinner not included, overnight.

DAY 08.- After the included breakfast, departure from Madresal or Boca del Cielo, depending on the flight schedule, visit the archaeological zone of Iglesia Vieja, lunch not included and transfer to the airport or bus terminal in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, end of services.

GROUP DEPARTURES ON SATURDAY AND TUESDAY. Our groups are small, maximum 18 persons travelling safely and confortably. Sprinter vans are used for a faster travel.

There is not refund already booked and paid the services, because the hotels and other services are reserved.

Cancelations refunds: 30 days before the arrival. 80% - 29 to 20 days before. 60% - 19 to 15 days before. 50% - AFTER there is not refunds due to the hotel politics.

We guarantee the departures with the number of persons registered paying the rate shown above in private services in any day you wish to travel, the transportation will be in automobil or van according the number of pasangers. The groups departure on the specified days.

Are considered minors up to 11 years old, those 12 years and older pay the full fare.

OBSERVACIONES:

We wait for you at the airport or bus terminal in Tuxtla Gutiérrez or at a hotel in Tuxtla or San Cristóbal de las Casas.

Bring with you a small backpack to transport water and personal items, a hat or cap for the sun, insect repellent, comfortable shoes for walking, tennis type.
