SENDA MAYA

Day 01.- At 08:00 hrs. we start the visit of the most important and biggest ancient city of the Maya world. place where we see the magnificent architecture and art expressed in the many temples like: temple of inscriptions, the palace, temple of the sun, foliage cross, temple of the cross ball court, archaeological site where the archaeologists have registered more 1667 temples hidden into the jungle. Continuation to the Lacandon jungle with lunch on the road, arrival to Pop chan Ecotouriristic center, accomodation in cabins or tents, time to enjoy the place, swim and walk, at convenient time dinner and overnight.

Day 02.- After breakfast we start a wonderful walking tour to the side of the river, seeing different water falls with time to swim in, arrive to Pop chan, there we drive to the unexplored archaeological site of Zak t´zi with huge temples, altars, ball court covered by the vegetation and have an experience like the ancient travelers, back to Pop chan for lunch, one hour rest and we take our personal raft to practice tubing over the river in the middle of the jungle, back by walking rest of the afternoon frree, dinner and overnight.

Day 03.- After breakfast, We start with our local Guide a short walking ionto the jungle to a place where we start the tubing over the river of dark waters because of the balck earth, it becomes clear and gree blue as other rivers join and the earht is yellow and white, it is a tranquil river having twoo fast courrents and one water fall at the end that we can pass or we get out of the river, we walk with our equipement to the cabins and then we start a walking to the Golondrinas water fall, time to enjoy this marvelous place, we swim and take photos, lunch in this place, transfer to Lacan-ha, rest of the time for visiting the community, dinner and overnight in cabins or tents.

Day 04.- After breakfast at 08:00 we start the visit of Bonampak, important archaeological site to see the most impressive mural painting of the Maya culture admiring also beautiful steles and carvings, continue to Frontera Corozal where we take the motor boat over the usumacinta river towards Yaxchilan, visit of this wonderful site surrounded by the lacandon jungle, place with interesting carvings and remarkable architecture, lunch and back to Lacan-ha, at conveniant time dinner and overnight in cabins or tents.

Day 05.- In the morning at 09:00 hrs. we start the rafting at Lacan-ha river, we row during one hour in the first part where there are different small water falls, less of one meter high and some of them 2.50 meters high grade of difficulty III, continue to row one hour more until the place where we leave the raft starting to walk visiting the unexplored archaeological site of Lacan-ha, we arrive to the Cedros river and the water fall of Mactuni-ha, time to rest and swim in this transparent and blue water, return to the cabins, continuation to Palenque with lunch on the road. End of the tour.
