Our Tour
DAY 01.- At 05:30 am. We leave for the Lacandon jungle with breakfast included on the way, we arrive in Lacan-ha and visit the archaeological site of Bonampak, (One hour) to see the mural painting, a work of Mayan art considered unique, we continue to Frontera Corozal where we take a motor boat to navigate the Usumacinta river to the ancient Mayan city of Yaxchilan, (one hour drive) 2 and a half hour visit to this beautiful place in the Chiapas jungle with its magnificent buildings, lintels and steles with hieroglyphic writing and images of rulers and an excellent architecture that tells us about a past of splendor, return to Frontera Corozal, lunch included in a local restaurant to continue later to the Lacandon community of Lacan-ha, rest of free time to visit the place, dinner included and overnight in cabins.
DAY 02.- After breakfast included, at 08:00 am. The walk begins in the Lacandon jungle accompanied by a person from the place (4 hour walk) we go to the Cedar river and Mactuni-ha waterfalls where we have an hour to swim in the crystal clear waters, return to the community with food included. around 17:00 pm. The transport comes and pick you up and return to Palenque.

Each person must to carry on a back pack to transport water, fruits, personal belongings confortable shoes to walk even into the water or old tennis, peaked, mosquitoes repellent,swimsuit for swimming in the natural pools of the river . Remarks: we must not use suntan creams or lotions as these affect the eco systems.
