Our Tour
DAY 01.- At 06:00 am. We leave Ocosingo with breakfast en route, we visit the great ancient Mayan city of Toniná to see one of the largest temples in Mesoamerica where we find circular stelae, sculptures of Rulers, under reliefs of prisoners, a mural modeled in stucco and its unique museum in the region (Monday closed), we continue to the Lacandon jungle with uncluded food (box lunch) en route, we arrive at NA-HA community, accommodation in local cabins, visit to the house of a family to see the elaboration and handle of the bow and arrow a convenient hour, dinner included and overnight.
Day 02.- At 08:00 am. We have breackfast and after that we go to Metzabok where a Lacandon man will give us a tour by the lake, through the channels and the jungle, showing us the caves and houses of the gods and remains of their ancestors, we see the cave paintings, we continue to the hill, we leave the cayuco and start a hikking tour the the top for the magnificent panoramic view, pic nic lunch included in this place, return to the community of Na-ha to see ans participate in the elaboration of clay figures, dinner included and avernight.
DAY 03.- After breakfast with the Lacandón guide we start a walk through the reserve and a canoe tour of the Na-ha lagoon and we walk towards the hill to see the yellow lake habitat of the crocodiles, we return to the community and continue to Bonampak to see the most preserved mural painting of the Maya culture with lunch included on route, then transfer to Frontera Corozal, accomodation in cabins and at convenient time dinner included and overnight.
Day 04. - After breakfast at 08:00 hrs. we take the motor boat over the usumacinta river towards Yaxchilan, visit of this wonderful site surrounded by the Lacandon jungle, famous place where is possible to see the Mayan heritage consisting in interesting steles, carvings representing governors, gods and rituals, remarkable temples, ball court and the main plaza, return to Frontera Corozal and continue to Roberto Barrios with lunch included, in this place we walk and see beautiful falls and pools of blue water having time to swim and feel the nature, continue to Palenque, end of the tour.
