MAGICAL CHIAPAS. A glance to the jungle and magic towns.

DAY 01.- Reception at the airport or bus terminal in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, visit to the canyon's viewpoints and transfer to Cahuaré to take a motorboat and enter the Sumidero Canyon to see its high limestone walls, flora and fauna, visit to Chiapa de Corzo, colonial fountain, the Santo Domingo church, buffet lunch of Chiapas food included, transfer to San Cristóbal de las Casas. DAY 02.- At 08:00 hrs. visit of the city. DAY 04.- At 05:00 a.m. Departure to Ocosingo (2 and a half hours journey) breakfast included en route and visit to the Mayan site of Toniná, where we will see the largest temple in Mesoamerica, continuing to Las Cascadas de Agua Azul, a walking tour to appreciate this beautiful place and swim if you wish, lunch included, visit to the Misol-há waterfall, arrival to Palenque and accommodation at the Yaxkin Ecotourism Center in a jungle and natural pools environment or in a hotel in the city and rest of the afternoon free.

DAY 05.- At 05:00 hrs. Departure to the Lacandon Jungle with breakfast included en route, visit to Bonampak to see the famous mural paintings and the stele of Chan Moan II, continuing to Corozal to take a motorboat and sail the Usumacinta River and arrive at Yaxchilán where we will see its temples, steles, lintels and hieroglyphic writing, lunch included and return to Palenque.

DAY 06.- After breakfast at 08:00 hrs. visit to the archaeological zone of Palenque, we will see the tomb of the Red Queen, temple of the inscriptions, the palace, temple of the nocturnal sun, temple of the foliated cross, ball game, northern group, site museum, regional food buffet included and transfer to Villahermosa airport or bus terminal.
