Our Tour:
Day 01.- At 06:45 hrs. departure to Ocosingo and visit of the huge archaeological site of Toniná, where we admire the architecture and Maya art exhibited in the beautiful museum, we continue to the waterfalls of Agua azul, time for the visit and swim if the climate and water are good, lunch in a local restaurant visiting the water fall of Misol-ha, transfer to Lacan-ha accommodation in cottages, at convenient time dinner and overnight.
Day 02.- After breakfast at 08:00 hrs. visit of Bomanpak to admire the most important mural paintings of Maya culture, drive to frontera Corozal where we take the motor boat over the usumacinta river towards yaxchilan, visit of this wonderful site surrounded by the lacandon jungle, place with interesting steles, carvings and remarkable architecture, lunch in frontera Corozal and continue to Las golondrinas water fall, rest of the afternoon free to walk and swim, dinner and overnight in tents or cottages.
Day 03.- After breakfast we start a wonderful walking tour to the side of the river seeing different water falls with time to swim, arrive to Pop chan, there we drive to the unexplored archaeological site of Zak t´zi with huge temples, altars, ball court covered by the vegetation and have an experience like the ancient travelers, continuation to the place where we start a walk of 30 minutes to the camp side into the jungle, time to enjoy the place, dinner and over night in tents.
Day 04.- After breakfast, We start with our Lacandon Guide the trekking during 5 ours to be in contact with the nature, visiting some of the lagoons there are into the jungle, arrive to Río Cedros and the water fall, time to rest, swim and see some species of fauna specially birds, continue to Lacan-ha to the house of a Lacandon family, lunch in this place, rest of the time free to enjoy the place, dinner and overnight in tents or cottages.
Day 05.- In the morning at 09:00 hrs. we start the rafting at Lacan-ha river, we row during one hour in the first part where there are different small water falls, less of one meter high and some of them 2.50 meters high grade of difficulty III, continue to row one hour more until the place where we leave the raft starting to walk visiting the unexplored archaeological site of Lacan-ha, water fall of Mactuni-ha, time to rest and swim, return to the camp side, continuation to Palenque with lunch on the road, accommodation in cottages.
Day 06.- After breackfast at 09:00 hrs. departure to Catazajá 30 minutes driving and take a motor boat for an interesting tour by the lake in order to see the nature of the place, beautiful vegetation and fauna, species of births like: cormorants, eagles, white and gray egrets, vultures, tiger egrets, pelicans. As well as crocodiles, spider monkeys, manatees, howler monkeys, jabirus, different kinds of iguanas, lunch in a local restaurant and return to Palenque, rest of the afternoon free for personal activities.
Day 07.- After breakfast at 08:00 hrs. We start the visit of the most important and biggest ancient city of the Maya world. place where we see the magnificent architecture and art expressed in the many temples like: temple of inscriptions, the palace, temple of the sun, foliage cross, temple of the cross ball court, archaeological site where the archaeologists have registered more than two hundred temples hidden into the jungle. Lunch in a local restaurant and transfer to the airport of Villa Hermosa or bus station or back to San Cristobal.
